Day 8 – Another Pound!

Okay, this is absolutely unbelievable that I have now lost 8 pounds. I have never before lost that much weight in a week or I think even in a month, this is terrific. I’m not hungry and I’m not sick to my stomach anymore since I started diluting the berry splash drink a lot more.

I have been making some changes to the plan. I always add 4 ounces of apple juice to the green drinks and that definitely helps get them down. I also found that eating the lentil soup keeps me really full, I think that’s from all the protein lentils have, so I’m going to continue with that soup until I’m just sick of it. A few days ago I added fresh watermelon in the evening replacing one of the drinks, just a small bowl of it, it is wonderful and it practically melts in your mouth, so I figure it’s not going to hurt the diet. I’m much happier knowing I have that little watermelon to look forward to at day’s end.

I’m not doing any of the enemas but I am going to the Colon Hydrotherapist for the 4 times she has scheduled. Actually, I went 2ce in the first week because that’s what the hydrotherapist recommended, so I will actually be going 5 times. I’m keeping up with my walking, but really leisurely because of the heat, it is really hot, today it’s in the high 90’s. Another day down, yea, Kate

  3. Great that you lost the 8lbs keep up the good work!! I just started today and I found I was hungrier after eating the soup?? Any soup ideas?

  4. Hi Janice,

    I made a lentil soup that really filled me up. I just put in dry lentils, onion, 2 carrots, 2 tomatoes. It’s a bit bland so you need to add the spices you like. This soup can last a whole week.

    I also made soup with a sweet potato, some fresh green beans, spinach, onion, ginger (I just used powder because I didn’t have any fresh) and 2 carrots. Again you will need to add spices, I did add a little paprika to it.

    I found that the inner cleanse pills actually make me feel full during the day. I try to remember to take 3 with my berry splash, 3 sometime in the afternoon and 3 before bed. You can get these pills from GNC, Healthway, any of those kind of stores.

    Good luck with your detox, it takes some will power (for me the will power is to drink those nasty drinks, I’ve been lucky and really haven’t been that hungry), but I try to look at is as if it’s only 3 weeks, that’s not very much time to lose that much weight and it will be truly worth it in the long run.
