Day 16 – Double Digit Numbers

Hot Dog!!! -  I finally hit a loss of 10 pounds, I thought it would never happen, hopefully I don’t gain this ½ pound back tomorrow.  Good energy today, walk was really nice.  I think I’m beginning the mentality of counting down my days and that’s definitely helping me feel more positive.  I truly haven’t starved at all on this diet, but all the drinks and soup that I consume makes me not look forward to those times of the day.  I’m already thinking about what I’m going to eat when this diet is done and greens and salads are something that doesn’t appeal to me at all right now.  Actually bland foods are starting to sound kind of good, like baked chicken, cottage cheese, oatmeal.  I am taking time to relook at how I eat and since I still need to lose another 20 pounds to hit my goal I am going to try to stay true to myself and the work I have put into this diet.  I’m going to try and forgo mayo on sandwiches, salad dressings, butter, any of the items that really don’t have to be there to enjoy a meal and I can add back carefully when I’ve hit my goal.  I feel energized about starting a good diet plan – of course with real food involved  - totally yummy!  I’m really glad I went on this diet, Kate
