Day 17 – A Good Day

 

I lost another ½ pound so total now 10 ½ pounds.  Lots of energy today which I really appreciate after all those days in the beginning when I was so tired.  I have added ½ tomato to my soup meal and I’m still drinking the B Monster drinks.  I saw my hydrotherapist today and she stated that one of the reasons the book suggests strongly that we start out very slowly with food after the detox is finished is because some people after they get started with eating tasty foods don’t want to stop and they pig out the first couple of days and get sick.  She said that’s why one food a day is added back to the diet beginning on day 22.  I can see that could be true.  Just thinking about eating again makes me happy and if we were allowed to eat good tasty food all day long on the first few days that could probably be a problem.  Although, I am considering adding oatmeal on my first day and then oatmeal and cottage cheese on my second day.  The reason I feel it would be okay is that I’ve already added the tomato and I drink a fruit drink at night, which is basically the items you add one at a time on day 22 & day 23.  Well, that’s my thoughts for today, Kate
